Some of you are wondering about the meaning behind the name of this blog. If you've known me a long time you'll recognize it as the name of the street where I grew up. My parents have lived in the same house for 35 years. Earlier this week I was home to pick up my golf clubs for my move to TX. My dad had neatly hand-written the luggage tag with my new address. So you can see why one would still feel like a kid around here.
This week I accepted an offer to move to my company's Austin, TX, office for three months to help train a new group of Associates. It's a balmy 16 degrees in Boston today, so I can't think of a better time to test drive a neat new city. I'll be recording what I see and learn during my time in the Lonestar State, and hopefully I'll have lots of interesting characters to tell you about. The only thing I like more than a good story is being able to share it with my friends.
